OHB 19:1ESVבַּחֹדֶשׁnew moonהַשְּׁלִישִׁיOn the thirdלְצֵאתhad gone outבְּנֵיafter the peopleיִשְׂרָאֵלof Israelמֵאֶרֶץof the landמִצְרָיִםof Egyptבַּיּוֹם, on that dayהַזֶּהthey cameבָּאוּthey cameמִדְבַּרinto the wildernessסִינָֽיof Sinai  OHB 19:2ESVוַיִּסְעוּThey set outמֵרְפִידִיםfrom Rephidimוַיָּבֹאוּand cameמִדְבַּרinto the wildernessסִינַיof Sinaiוַֽיַּחֲנוּ, and they encampedבַּמִּדְבָּרin the wildernessוַיִּֽחַןencampedשָׁם. ThereיִשְׂרָאֵלIsraelנֶגֶדbeforeהָהָֽרthe mountain  OHB 19:3ESVוּמֹשֶׁהwhile Mosesעָלָהwent upאֶלto Godהָאֱלֹהִיםto Godוַיִּקְרָא. The calledאֵלָיוLordיְהוָהLordמִןto him outהָהָרof the mountainלֵאמֹר, sayingכֹּה, Thusתֹאמַרyou shall sayלְבֵיתto the houseיַעֲקֹבof Jacobוְתַגֵּיד, and tellלִבְנֵיthe peopleיִשְׂרָאֵֽלof Israel  OHB 19:4ESVאַתֶּם'You yourselves have seenרְאִיתֶם'You yourselves have seenאֲשֶׁרwhatעָשִׂיתִיI didלְמִצְרָיִםto the Egyptiansוָאֶשָּׂא, and how I boreאֶתְכֶם[the]עַל’ wings,כַּנְפֵי’ wings,נְשָׁרִיםyou on eaglesוָאָבִאand broughtאֶתְכֶם[the]אֵלָֽי   OHB 19:5ESVוְעַתָּהNowאִםtherefore, ifשָׁמוֹעַyou will indeedתִּשְׁמְעוּobeyבְּקֹלִיmy voiceוּשְׁמַרְתֶּםand keepאֶת[the]בְּרִיתִיmy covenant,וִהְיִיתֶם, you shall be my treasured possessionלִי סְגֻלָּה, you shall be my treasured possessionמִכָּלallהָעַמִּיםpeoplesכִּי, forלִי כָּלallהָאָֽרֶץthe earth  OHB 19:6ESVוְאַתֶּםand you shall be to me a kingdomתִּהְיוּand you shall be to me a kingdomלִי מַמְלֶכֶתand you shall be to me a kingdomכֹּהֲנִיםof priestsוְגוֹיnationקָדוֹשׁand a holyאֵלֶּה'. Theseהַדְּבָרִיםare the wordsאֲשֶׁרthatתְּדַבֵּרyou shall speakאֶלto the peopleבְּנֵיto the peopleיִשְׂרָאֵֽלof Israel  OHB 19:7ESVוַיָּבֹאcameמֹשֶׁהSo Mosesוַיִּקְרָאand calledלְזִקְנֵיthe eldersהָעָםof the peopleוַיָּשֶׂםand setלִפְנֵיהֶםbeforeאֵת[the]כָּלthem all,הַדְּבָרִיםwordsהָאֵלֶּהtheseאֲשֶׁרthatצִוָּהוּthe had commandedיְהוָֽהLord  OHB 19:8ESVוַיַּעֲנוּansweredכָלAllהָעָםthe peopleיַחְדָּוtogetherוַיֹּאמְרוּand saidכֹּל, Allאֲשֶׁרthat the has spokenדִּבֶּרthat the has spokenיְהוָהLordנַעֲשֶׂהwe will doוַיָּשֶׁבreportedמֹשֶׁה. And Mosesאֶת[the]דִּבְרֵיthe words,הָעָםof the peopleאֶלLordיְהוָֽהLord  OHB 19:9ESVוַיֹּאמֶרAnd the saidיְהוָהLordאֶלto Mosesמֹשֶׁהto Mosesהִנֵּה, Beholdאָנֹכִי[I]בָּא, I am comingאֵלֶיךָto you in a thickבְּעַבto you in a thickהֶֽעָנָןcloudבַּעֲבוּרmay hearיִשְׁמַעmay hearהָעָם, that the peopleבְּדַבְּרִיwhen I speakעִמָּךְwith you, and may also believeוְגַםwith you, and may also believeבְּךָ יַאֲמִינוּwith you, and may also believeלְעוֹלָםyou foreverוַיַּגֵּדtoldמֹשֶׁה. When Mosesאֶת[the]דִּבְרֵיthe words,הָעָםof the peopleאֶלLordיְהוָֽהLord  OHB 19:10ESVוַיֹּאמֶרthe saidיְהוָהLordאֶלto Mosesמֹשֶׁהto Mosesלֵךְ[to walk]אֶלto the peopleהָעָםto the peopleוְקִדַּשְׁתָּםand consecrateהַיּוֹםthem todayוּמָחָרand tomorrowוְכִבְּסוּ, and let them washשִׂמְלֹתָֽםtheir garments  OHB 19:11ESVוְהָיוּand be readyנְכֹנִיםand be readyלַיּוֹםdayהַשְּׁלִישִׁיfor the thirdכִּי. Forבַּיּוֹםdayהַשְּׁלִישִׁיon the thirdיֵרֵדthe will come downיְהוָהLordלְעֵינֵיin the sightכָלof allהָעָםthe peopleעַלon Mountהַרon MountסִינָֽיSinai  OHB 19:12ESVוְהִגְבַּלְתָּAnd you shall set limitsאֶת[the]הָעָםfor the people,סָבִיבall aroundלֵאמֹר, sayingהִשָּׁמְרוּ, Take careלָכֶם עֲלוֹתnot to go upבָּהָרinto the mountainוּנְגֹעַor touchבְּקָצֵהוּthe edgeכָּלof it. Whoeverהַנֹּגֵעַtouchesבָּהָרthe mountainמוֹתshall beיוּמָֽתput to death  OHB 19:13ESVלֹאNoתִגַּעshall touchבּוֹ יָדhandכִּֽיhim, but he shallסָקוֹלhim, but he shallיִסָּקֵלbe stonedאוֹorיָרֹהshotיִיָּרֶהshotאִם; whetherבְּהֵמָהbeastאִםorאִישׁmanלֹא, he shall notיִחְיֶהliveבִּמְשֹׁךְsounds a long blastהַיֹּבֵל. When the trumpetהֵמָּה, they shall come upיַעֲלוּ, they shall come upבָהָֽרto the mountain  OHB 19:14ESVוַיֵּרֶדwent downמֹשֶׁהSo Mosesמִןfrom the mountainהָהָרfrom the mountainאֶלto the peopleהָעָםto the peopleוַיְקַדֵּשׁand consecratedאֶת[the]הָעָםthe people,וַֽיְכַבְּסוּ; and they washedשִׂמְלֹתָֽםtheir garments  OHB 19:15ESVוַיֹּאמֶרAnd he saidאֶלto the peopleהָעָםto the peopleהֱיוּ, Beנְכֹנִיםreadyלִשְׁלֹשֶׁתfor the thirdיָמִיםdayאַֽל; do notתִּגְּשׁוּgo nearאֶלa womanאִשָּֽׁהa woman  OHB 19:16ESVוַיְהִיOn the morningבַיּוֹםdayהַשְּׁלִישִׁיof the thirdבִּֽהְיֹתdayהַבֹּקֶרOn the morningוַיְהִיthere were thundersקֹלֹתthere were thundersוּבְרָקִיםand lightningsוְעָנָןcloudכָּבֵדand a thickעַלon the mountainהָהָרon the mountainוְקֹלblastשֹׁפָרtrumpetחָזָקloudמְאֹדand a veryוַיֶּחֱרַדtrembledכָּל, so that allהָעָםthe peopleאֲשֶׁרin the campבַּֽמַּחֲנֶֽהin the camp  OHB 19:17ESVוַיּוֹצֵאbroughtמֹשֶׁהThen Mosesאֶת[the]הָעָםthe people,לִקְרַאת[befall]הָֽאֱלֹהִיםGodמִןout of the campהַֽמַּחֲנֶהout of the campוַיִּֽתְיַצְּבוּ, and they took their standבְּתַחְתִּיתat the footהָהָֽרof the mountain  OHB 19:18ESVוְהַרNow MountסִינַיSinaiעָשַׁןwas wrapped in smokeכֻּלּוֹ, and the wholeמִפְּנֵיbecauseאֲשֶׁרbecauseיָרַדthe had descendedעָלָיוLordיְהוָהLordבָּאֵשׁon it in fireוַיַּעַלof it went upעֲשָׁנוֹ. The smokeכְּעֶשֶׁןlike the smokeהַכִּבְשָׁןof a kilnוַיֶּחֱרַדtrembledכָּלmountainהָהָרmountainמְאֹֽדgreatly  OHB 19:19ESVוַיְהִיAnd as the soundקוֹלAnd as the soundהַשּׁוֹפָרof the trumpetהוֹלֵךְgrewוְחָזֵק[stronger]מְאֹדand louderמֹשֶׁה, Mosesיְדַבֵּרspokeוְהָאֱלֹהִים, and Godיַעֲנֶנּוּansweredבְקֽוֹלhim in thunder  OHB 19:20ESVוַיֵּרֶדThe came downיְהוָהLordעַלon Mountהַרon MountסִינַיSinaiאֶלtoרֹאשׁ, to the topהָהָרof the mountainוַיִּקְרָא. And the calledיְהוָהLordלְמֹשֶׁהMosesאֶלthe topרֹאשׁthe topהָהָרof the mountainוַיַּעַלwent upמֹשֶֽׁה, and Moses  OHB 19:21ESVוַיֹּאמֶרAnd the saidיְהוָהLordאֶלto Mosesמֹשֶׁהto Mosesרֵד, Go downהָעֵדand warnבָּעָםthe peopleפֶּן, lestיֶהֶרְסוּthey break throughאֶלLordיְהוָהLordלִרְאוֹתto the to lookוְנָפַלof them perishמִמֶּנּוּand manyרָֽבand many  OHB 19:22ESVוְגַםAlsoהַכֹּהֲנִיםlet the priestsהַנִּגָּשִׁיםwho come nearאֶלLordיְהוָהLordיִתְקַדָּשׁוּto the consecrateפֶּןthemselves, lestיִפְרֹץthe break outבָּהֶם יְהוָֽהLord  OHB 19:23ESVוַיֹּאמֶרsaidמֹשֶׁהAnd MosesאֶלLordיְהוָהLordלֹאcannotיוּכַלcannotהָעָםto the , The peopleלַעֲלֹתcome upאֶלto Mountהַרto MountסִינָיSinaiכִּֽי, forאַתָּהyou yourself warnedהַעֵדֹתָהyou yourself warnedבָּנוּ לֵאמֹרus, sayingהַגְבֵּל, Set limitsאֶת[the]הָהָרaround the mountain,וְקִדַּשְׁתּֽוֹand consecrate  OHB 19:24ESVוַיֹּאמֶרAnd the saidאֵלָיוLordיְהוָהLordלֶךְ[to walk]רֵדdownוְעָלִיתָ, and come upאַתָּהbringing Aaronוְאַהֲרֹןbringing Aaronעִמָּךְlet the priestsוְהַכֹּהֲנִיםlet the priestsוְהָעָםand the peopleאַלwith you. But do notיֶֽהֶרְסוּbreak throughלַעֲלֹתto come upאֶלLordיְהוָהLordפֶּןto the , lestיִפְרָץhe break outבָּֽם   OHB 19:25ESVוַיֵּרֶדwent downמֹשֶׁהSo Mosesאֶלto the peopleהָעָםto the peopleוַיֹּאמֶרand toldאֲלֵהֶֽםthem.ס
